Freddie Mercury - Collector's Plate. This is the'Deluxe' commemorative collector plate, part of The Mick Rock Collection, featuring a montage of iconic images of Freddie Mercury taken by the legendary rock photographer Mick Rock. This special deluxe-sized collector's plate made by Danbury Mint measures 12 inches (30 cm) approx. In diameter compared to 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) for the standard sized plates. Made of fine porcelain the plate is edged with a band of precious 22-carat gold for a luxurious finishing touch.
This is arguably the most collectable of all the Freddie Mercury plates and was only available as a Limited Edition subscription in 2007. Also includes the individually numbered Certifictate of Authentinity (COA), display stand and large fold-out leaflet.Near Mint - There is a very slight flaw in the gold rim edge (possibly from manufactrure) at 10 o'clock (see photos), all other items are in'near mint' /'like new' condition.
